Mindy Minaeri

Instructor, RYT 200

Mindy started her Yoga journey in 2014, when she found herself the Deaf Yoga Club sponsor at the school she worked at. But it wasn’t until July 2019 that she first stepped into a yoga studio – and Just Breathe was that studio.

This year she earned her 200-hour certification from The Yoga Abbey, a faith-based Yoga School where she learned how to embody her faith through the practice of yoga. Her well-rounded studies included: Yoga history, 8-limbs of Yoga, anatomy & physiology, meditation and contemplative practices, trauma-informed teaching, prenatal modifications, and ayurveda.

Mindy’s heart for teaching yoga is to create a safe and welcoming space for you to disconnect from the busyness, distractions, and demands of life, and encourage you to have grace for yourself as you move on your mat with intention, linking breath with movement, and honoring (and even celebrating!) what your body is able to do that day. She remembers Pat once saying, “Everybody can do yoga! You only need a body and the ability to breathe.”
